In efforts to broaden Girl-EMED’s (formerly Warrior Women) outreach, a visit was taken to WCCCK to assess their work and how we can help further their vision.
Women Caring and counseling center is an N.G.O and community based organization Founded by a compassionate woman Serwanga Maureen.
Part of their mission is to educate, support, & Empower young women who have faced challenges and found themselves as outcasts in their communities. WCCC have been involved in so many activities regarding the community issues and have received so many recognitions by different Institutions for the great work done.
Many girls aren’t able to attend tertiary education and places like WCCCK have made it possible for such girls to attain practical skills such as hair dressing and in turn these skills are used to source employment.
Girl-EMED donated a hair dryer to WCCCK in recognition of their efforts as they develop skills training for the girls and empowering them to take charge of their lives.
